The Souliers are a modern incarnation of 18th century "dancing shoes".

French silk from Veraseta, silk maker in Charlieu, France since the early 20th century. 

The insole is padded to ensure all-day wearability. While they of course won't love walking in the mud, the fabric is treated against water so they can withstand mild rain. 

Back heel 4.5cm, front heel 3.5cm.

Made in Italy near Lucca.
