A modern incarnation of the 18th-century dancing shoe, these Souliers are handcrafted in a small atelier near Lucca, Italy. Each pair is cut and made to order, which is why we ask for a month: each soulier passes through the hands of a few craftspeople, from the cutting of the silk to the finishing of the sole, without shortcuts or compromises.
The silk itself comes from Veraseta in Charlieu, France, a maison that has been weaving silk in the Loire since the early 20th century. We treat the silk to repel water so your Souliers can handle a mild rain, and we pad the insole so they can carry you comfortably from morning to last dance.
True to size. If you're between sizes, size up. Back heel 4.5 cm, front heel 3.5 cm.
Size and color can be exchanged upon reception.
